Bacon Ends are cured naturally and hardwood smoked. No nitrates or artificial smoke flavor in our bacon ends!
After our pasture-raised pork bellies are cured and smoked, they are sliced into bacon. When our processor reaches the end of the slab and can no longer slice it, they package the remaining portion as Bacon Ends. Packages vary and contain chunks of bacon and/or smaller bits. This is a good choice for recipes that call for chopped bacon. One of my favorite uses- potato soup with bacon.
